COMMEMORATIVE AIR FORCE
COLONEL HOWARD "MIKE" HUNT
ALASKA WING
Our Mission
The Commemorative Air Force was founded to acquire, restore and preserve in flying condition a complete collection of combat aircraft which were flown by all military services of the United States, and selected aircraft of other nations, for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations of Americans. Since 2007 the CAF Alaska Wing has displayed its vintage World War II era aircraft at numerous events throughout the state of Alaska.

Fly a Warbird!
We can take you for a flight in our 1942 BT-13 Valiant, a true World War II warbird, around Anchorage and into the beautiful Chugach Mountains. Come on out to Merrill Field to experience the touch and feel of a real warbird. Our pilots are all very experienced Alaskan aviators who volunteer their time to take passengers for rides.
